Barnesville police report

Between Friday, April 20, and Friday, April 27, the Barnesville police department made three arrests:Roctavis Zellner, 21, 369 N. Frontage Rd., Forsyth, simple assault;Shavaz Bendolph, 23, 1558 Montauk Pt., Conyers, speeding, possession of marijuana and driving while license suspended;Ulysses Eure III, 40, 657 Fredonia Church Rd., Washington, D.C., simple battery.Officers answered 121 calls for service and issued 23 citations.In an effort for safer streets for our citizens and visitors the Barnesville police department will be performing concentrated patrol on Greenwood Street and Collier Road through May 3. Patrol will enforce speeding, no through trucks, child restraint and seat belt violations. School resource officers will monitor and enforce child and seat belt violations at the schools.
