Barnesville police report

Between Friday, May 4, and Friday, May 11, the Barnesville police department made four arrests:Jasmine Brown, 19, 4210 Hambrick Way, Stone Mountain, disorderly conduct;Joel Anglin, 21, 2982 Old Lifsey Springs Rd., Molena, disorderly conduct;Cameron Shannon, 40, 118 Laurel Dr., Barnesville, possession of methamphetamine, DUI, failure to stop at stop sign and failure to maintain lane;Isaac Penn, 26, 375 Yatesville Rd., Barnesville, criminal trespass.Officers answered 109 calls for service and issued 11 citations.In an effort for safer streets for citizens and visitors the Barnesville police department will perform concentrated patrol on Zebulon and Elm streets May 15-17. Patrol will enforce speeding, no through trucks, child restraint and seat belt violations. School resource officers will monitor and enforce child and seat belt violations at the schools.
