Barnesville police report

Between Friday, July 6, and Friday, July 13, the Barnesville police department made six arrests:Salena Williams, 19, 311 Taylor St., Barnesville, armed robbery on a street with a gun;Josh Heflin, 17, 311 Taylor St., Barnesville, armed robbery on a street with a gun;Jennrice, McDowell, 17, 157 Barnesville Ave., Barnesville, armed robbery on a street with a gun;Joshua Walker, 19, 183 Midway Rd., Barnesville, statutory rape and child molestation;Ashley Hughley, 26, 156 Moury Ave., SW, Apt. 3403, Atlanta, theft by deception and financial transaction card fraud.Officers answered 97 calls for service including one EMS assist, four burglaries, 11 domestics, 13 foot patrols, eight suspicious persons/vehicles, four speeding, two accidents, four intoxicated pedestrian, nine escorts, 10 alarms, one damage to property, one improperly parked vehicle and two unwanted persons. They issued seven citations including five speeding, one running red light and one disorderly conduct.
