Barnesville Police Report

Between Sunday, May 10 and Monday, May 18, 2015, the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests: James May, 28, 55 Whitman St., Zebulon, criminal trespass; Christopher Scott, 43, 1238 Morgan Road, Yatesville, driving while license suspended/revoked and DUI; Monterious Hurley, 26, 406 Georgia Avenue, Thomaston, headlight requirements, brake light requirements, driving while license suspended, obstruction. Patrolmen also answered 132 calls for service, including two fights, seven animal complaints, seven security checks, one theft, one forgery, two burglaries, 12 domestic problems, 18 meet in person, two subject with firearms, 29 foot patrol, five suspicious person/vehicle reports, 15 stopping person or vehicles, three accidents, two intoxicated pedestrians, one direct traffic, 12 convoy/escorts, four alarms activated, two damage to property, one special detail, two 911 hang up, one unwanted person, one prisoner/subject in custody, two mental subjects, 18 citations, two driving while license suspended/revoked, one failure to maintain insurance, three speeding, one DUI, one one way roadway or rotary traffic, one following too close, one driving within a gore or median, three failure to stop at stop/yield sign, one failure to yield when entering/crossing roadway, one headlight requirement, one no operating brake light/signal, one criminal trespass, one obstruction.
