A Barnesville teen was among three men arrested today for a series of church burglary/vandalism incidents in Pike County last weekend.Pike County sheriff Jimmy Thomas reported evidence at one of the crime scenes was linked to the vehicle of one of the suspects. Later property from one of the churches was found at the home of one of the suspects. Other church property was pawned, recovered and positively identified by church members.Arrested were Denver Dickson, 22, of Zebulon; Jacob Wilson, 19, of Barnesville; and Jacob Nicholson, 20, of Zebulon. Each is charged with multiple counts including burglary, vandalism to a place of worship, criminal damage to property and criminal trespass. All three remain in the Pike County jail awaiting bond hearings.”This case has been a real nail-biter for me because it inolved so many people through their churches. I am glad it is solved,” sheriff Thomas said.The churches hit by the trio were New Hope Baptist Church, Flat Rock Church and Nazareth Church in Meansville.More on this story as it develops…
