When and Where:Friday 7:30 p.m. at Pirate Field, 7450 Highway 19 S Zebulon, GA 30295.To Get There:Take 18 W to downtown Zebulon. Turn left on Main Street and drive about a mile to the old high school on the left. The field is behind the school. The trip is about 12 miles or 15 minutes.Weather:Partly cloudy with a 50% chance of a thunderstorm and temperatures near 80 at kick off. Clearing as the game goes on with temps in the low 70s. If Mother Nature doesn’t provide Thunder, Big Blue will.Last week:Lamar County beat Eagle’s Landing 28-7. Pike County beat First Presbyterian 30-0.Last year:The Trojans scored on their initial possession of the game and the Pirates answered with an 80 yard scoring drive to tie the score but Lamar went on to score 37 unanswered points for a 44-7 win at Thunder Alley.Series:30th meeting since 1976. Trojans lead 22-7.Pike County defense vs. Trojan offense:The Pirates are coming off a shutout of FPD after giving up 28 points to Upson-Lee and are yielding 15.3 points per game including 18 to Spalding in their pre-season scrimmage. The Trojans are scoring at 35.6 point clip.Pike County offense vs. Trojan defense:The Pirate spread put up only 6 points through its first six and a half quarters but has scored 51 in its last five and a half to average 19 per game.
