At just about noon today the first team began setting up for the 5th Annual BBQ & Blues festival here in Barnesville. Blues Brothers BBQ from right here in Barnesville were officially the first to stoke the charcoal and get the meat searing. By 3pm four other teams had made their way to the Ag Center just off Roberta Drive to wait in holding until the downtown parking lots emptied and became available at 7pm. In the meantime United Bank played host to the Chamber of Commerce After Hours event as well as a ‘meet-n-greet’ for the folks who had already started pouring in. As of 9:45 p.m. this evening teams were still making their way into the parking lot downtown as well as setting up their tents and cookware.
