Beautiful weather has led to big crowds at BBQ & Blues events in downtown Barnesville, including a huge turnout for Friday night’s free concert. There is much to do downtown: sample competition barbecue for lunch, enjoy free music all afternoon and look on as cook teams turn in their pork and brisket works. The kids park is open and the BBQ awards will be presented beginning at 5 p.m. at the BBQ stage. The gates open at Ritz Park for the main event concert at 5:30 p.m.
