Mrs. Betty Jean Bishop Smith, age 57, of Milner passed away on Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013 at her residence.Mrs. Smith was born in Barnesville to the late Mr. William Edward Bishop and the late Mrs. Delores Faye Nelson Bishop. She was a member of the Baptist faith.Survivors include her husband, Tommy Smith of Milner; three children, Karen Jean Radford (and Randy) of Barnesville, Teresa Lee Smith of Milner and Felicia Jean Smith of Milner; three grandchildren, Makena Rose Radford, Ireland Grace Radford and Willow Aspen Radford; two sisters, Marie Maxwell (and Danny) and Sandra Dobeck (and Eddy); two brothers, Freddy Bishop (and Stacey) and Billy Bishop; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Mark A. Smith (and Renee J.) of Griffin, Frankie Brady, Denise Brady and several others; mother-in-law, Jean Dale Brady; nieces and nephews, Tammy York, Samantha Andrews (and Ant), A.J. Andrews, LaTray Andrews, Destin Maxwell, Katie Maxwell, Jamie Maxwell (and Elizabeth), Michael Bishop (and Phelicia), April Carter, Christy, Savannah and Tyler Smith and numerous other Bishops and Smiths also survive.Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Jean Smith will be conducted Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. Franklin Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in Lamar Memory Gardens.
