Betty Ogilvie-Adamson

Mrs. Betty Ogilvie-Adamson, age 84, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Monroe County Hospital.
Mrs. Adamson was born on Tuesday, March 16, 1937, to the late George J. McDaniel and Ethel Mae Drake. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband of 53 years, Rudolph Ogilvie, sons-in-law; Glenn Greenway, Charlie Banks, and David Rose. Mrs. Adamson loved to sew; she was known by many to be a great seamstress. She loved her church family and attended church every time the doors were open. Betty also enjoyed baking and traveling in her free times, as well as playing family games with her loved ones.
Betty is survived by her husband, Grady Adamson, children; Patti O. Greenway, Paula O. Rose, and Karla O. Banks, 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, sister; Marjorie Andrews. A host of extended family also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Ogilvie-Adamson will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams-Westbury Funeral Home with Reverend Darrell Corbin and Reverend Bobby Calloway, Sr. officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Greenwood Cemetery.
Flowers will be accepted, or the family suggests donations be made to True Vision Pentecostal Church at 2619 Highway 41 South, Forsyth, Ga, 31029.
