Investigators with the Spalding County Sheriff’s Department are aggressively investigating six residential burglaries possibly committed by the same suspects according to Sheriff Dee Stewart. The gang of thieves has also hit multiple residences in Lamar County. Stewart stated that investigators have worked around the clock since last Tuesday actively patrolling the east side of the Spalding County. Along with the burglaries in Spalding County, authorities in Monroe, Butts, Pike and Lamar Counties are also investigating burglaries committed by the same suspects. Investigators in all five counties are actively searching for a Black in color Dodge Magnum, possibly bearing a North Carolina tag. According to Captain Tony Ranieri anyone who see’s a vehicle matching that description is asked to contact 911 and give the location. Ranieri stated that no one should approach these suspects because they are considered armed due to a home invasion that was committed by them last Thursday in Monroe County.
