A motorcyclist was injured in a 3 p.m. Friday crash on Hwy. 36 West near the go-kart track. The biker, who was riding a chopper, told deputies at the scene that a pickup truck caused the accident. It was unclear if the truck struck the bike or forced the biker to lay it down. The victim was conscious and communicative. He appeared to have an upper arm or shoulder injury in addition to lacerations.
