Bomb threat clears Spalding courthouse

The Spalding County courthouse in Griffin was evacuated Tuesday afternoon after a vague bomb threat was called in to the 911 center there. Bill Taylor of WKEU reports the threat was called in about 4 p.m., leading to the evacuation. The building was swept and no explosives were found. The ‘all clear’ was sounded at 5:55 p.m. investigators are tracing the threat call and arrests are expected.
