A suspect in bomb threats called in last week to two local convenience stores is in jail in Peach County, according to Barnesville Police Department investigator Al Moltrum. Satish Kumar (Sonny) Patel, 25, faces multiple charges. He is an employee at Benny’s, a Barnesville C-store. Patel allegedly made threats in various other counties, including at two banks in Monroe County. Various agencies cooperated in the investigation including the BPD, the Lamar County sheriff’s office, FBI and investigators in Byron and Monroe County
