Bradford Brown Sr.

Mr. Bradford Brown Sr. died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015. Mr. Brown was born on May 25, 1959 to the late Mr. Charlie Fred and Elizabeth Brown. After working as a plumber and several other jobs Bradford became a handyman by trade. He was very skilled at a wide range of repairs. He also had a passion to help others and he would lend a helping hand to anyone. At a young age Mr. Brown accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. He was a member of Mt. Sinai CME Church, Milner. A lasting relationship began with his wife, Carolyn Evans. To this union two wonderful children were born, Michelle and Bradford Brown Jr. The joy of his life was his family, friends, and other people he came into acquaintance with. When the family gathered he would embrace everyone with his sense of humor. Bradford was a family man and provided well for his family. After a courageous battle with his health on Jan. 3, 2015 the Lord called Bradford home. Survivors include two children to cherish his memory, Michelle and Bradford Brown Jr.; six grandchildren; sisters include Charlene Brown, Martha Ann (George) Few, Angelia (David) Freeman, all of Barnesville, Freddie (Henry Lee) Furlow of Milner, Teresa (Gill) Dumas of Macon, Jennifer Watkins of Griffin and Mattie (Al) Gilbert of Hampton; his brothers, Marvin Brown, who preceded him in death and John Robert (Shirley) Brown of Milner; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends. Services were held Friday, Jan. 9, 2015 at Mt. Sinai CME Church.
