Brenda Gayle Brantly

Brenda Gayle Brantly passed away on August 23, 2023 at her home in Milner, Georgia. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia on January 7, 1945 to the late Howard Walter Brantly, Jr. and Mildred Wilson Brantly.
Brenda was a graduate of Milner High School. She worked for Southern Bell Telephone then transitioned to AT&T Landlines. After retiring from AT&T, she held different jobs including as security at Charleston Coliseum where she handled personal security for several celebrities.
Brenda loved fishing, reading and telling jokes. She took care of her mother, who suffered from Alzheimers, for several years. She was her nieces’ and nephews’ favorite aunt. Her kindness and generosity were well known.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Judi Pambuena and brother Howard Brantly III.
Brenda is survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Donna Brantly, Rick and Linda Brantly all of Milner and Wayne and Vicki Brantly of Barnesville. She had many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Contributions may be made in Brenda’s name to the Milner Community Library.
