Sporadic rain showers failed to diminish the crowds over the weekend at the 36th annual Barnesville Buggy Days festival. (video after the jump)Although a few vendors left Saturday night due to rain and the forecast for more on Sunday, others reported excellent sales.Shirley Griffin of Lincolnton sold her airbrush art on Market St. and was very pleased with her revenues. “A lot of people were out shopping in the rain. I was amazed,” Griffin said.The rain did cave in a few tents overnight Saturday but that was the only real problem.Barnesville police chief Chuck Keadle said the throngs were well-behaved and there were no major law enforcement incidents reported.You can also watch the movie below featuring a view from the buggy!
