The main event weekend of the 48th annual Barnesville Buggy Days festival got underway Saturday and, by parade time, the town was packed. The crowds didn’t set any records but, after two years of no events or limited events due to COVID, it was a huge turnout.
The best indication of crowd size is parking and parking spots were few and far between as the parade formed up.
The crafts vendors and food booths downtown also seemed to be doing well.
Cooler than normal temperatures helped out with attendance.
