Big changes are in store for the Buggy Days street dance this year as it moves to Saturday night, Sept. 21 so as not to conflict with Lamar County football Friday night and to fill the void left by the demise of the old fashioned games. The location has also changed to the rodeo arena on Roberta Drive from Ritz Park to accommodate fireworks. Roberta Drive will be closed for the event. The gates will open at 5:30 p.m. with Bobby Hall taking the stage at 6 p.m. followed by local favorites The Master Blasters at 7:30 p.m. The fireworks will go off at 9:30 p.m. followed by more from the Master Blasters through 10:30 p.m. There will be bounce houses for the kids and vendors will provide hot dogs, hamburgers and barbecue.
