The Spalding County Sheriff’s Office has been investigating numerous thefts and burglaries that have occurred on the east and west side of Spalding County. The investigation revealed that the same suspects wanted in Spalding County were also responsible for burglaries and thefts in Lamar County. At the conclusion of the investigation from both agencies the following suspects were arrested: Richard Lee Fisher 2624 Jackson Road, Griffin, Georgia; one count of Burglary Spalding County; four counts of Theft by Taking; from Lamar County; one count Theft by Receiving from Lamar County. Bruce Edward Miller 935 ½ Hamilton Blvd, Griffin, Georgia; one count Theft by Taking Spalding County. Laura Thompson 2624 Jackson Road Griffin, Georgia; one count Burglary Spalding County; four counts of Theft by Taking from Lamar County; one count Theft by Receiving from Lamar County. Ronnie Dale Haney 399 Whatley Road Griffin, Georgia; one count of Burglary; one count of Theft by Receiving both charges from Spalding County. Johnny Walter Arnold 150 Green Valley Road, Griffin, Georgia; one count Theft by Taking Spalding County. The investigation continues and more arrests are possible.
