Based on webpage comments and an overwhelming number of social media messages and e-mails, Khris Burk and Matthew Smith have been named the winners in The Herald Gazette #1 Trojan fan contest. They will receive four tickets to tonight’s game and a pre-game meal donated by Slices Pizzeria in downtown Barnesville. Others nominated were: Ray Smith, Ryan Christopher, Kenny Green, Buddy Lanier, Lee Otis Butler, James Mann, Danny Turner, Tom Coffey, Taylor Burk, Coach Wimberly, Dr. & Mrs. Harris, Mr. Hightower, Mr. Smith, Mrs. Byars, Dr. Olivier & Mrs. O’Neal. GAME TIME WEATHER UPDATE: 70 degrees with a 20% chance of rain at kickoff time. 67 degrees with a 30% chance of rain by game’s end.
