Pretrial hearings in the cases of Shameik Jamilahad Spinks and Lekievius T. Eleby are set for Thursday, Feb. 9 in Lamar superior court. Following those hearings, trial dates for the accused killers will be set. A new jury pool is expected to be drawn once the trial dates are set. Spinks and Eleby each face two counts of felony murder and multiple additional charges in connection with the December 2010 home invasion murder of Danavan Bussey.
