Multiple students at Henderson Middle School in Jackson were treated for exposure to THC Friday. One student was transported to an area hospital for treatment as a precaution.As many as eight kids were exposed. The candy was brought to the school by a female student.”We don’t know what’s in that substance at this point. The preliminary thoughts by our law enforcement and public safety officials is that it’s some kind of THC derivative,” Butts school superintendent Todd Simpson said.UPDATE: It has been determined the candy was not laced with THC. It was acquired at a food bank and the child who brought it to school has been cleared.
