A small car collided with a Norfolk-Southern freight train Friday evening at the intersection of Fredonia Church and Johnstonville roads.
A six-year-old boy was injured. He was complaining of abdominal pain and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
State troopers are working the crash which occurred at about 5:25 p.m.
