Mrs. Cara Dawn Mitchell Moore, age 60, of Culloden passed away Nov. 21, 2013 in a Macon healthcare facility.Mrs. Moore was born April 18, 1953 to the late Mr. John Max Mitchell Sr. and the late Mrs. Mary Nell Stephens Mitchell. She was a registered nurse and worked for the state of Georgia Department of Corrections and was a member of the Culloden Baptist Church.Survivors include her two sons, Marty “John” (and Jennifer) Harris of Culloden and Mitchell R. Harris of Duluth, Ga.; three siblings, Johnny (and Nancy) Mitchell of Barnesville, Jan Mitchell-Strassner of Fernandina Beach, Fla., and Kimberly Joy Kirkland of Fernandina Beach, Fla.; three grandchildren, Kimberly Walker (and Cameron) Perdichizzi, Marleigh Denise Harris, and Marty Jacob Harris; nieces and nephews, John Caleb (and Marissa) Strassner, Rebekah Dawn Strassner and Kyle (and Amanda) Kirkland, Cole Kirkland and Kalli Kirkland. Numerous friends and other loved ones also survive.Funeral services for Mrs. Cara Moore were conducted Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013 at the Culloden Baptist Church at 2 p.m. with Rev. Albert Parker and Rev. Don Voyles officiating. Interment was held at the Culloden Cemetery.
