Carol Huckeba Goolsby

Mrs. Carol Jane Huckeba Goolsby, age 63, of Yatesville passed away Nov. 15, 2013 at her residence.She was born in Atlanta, Ga., to the late Mr. Isaac Lee Huckeba and the late Mrs. Thelma Aline Buchanan Huckeba. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Mr. James Franklin Goolsby. She worked as a customer service manager for 41 years and attended Antioch Baptist Church.Survivors include daughters, Toni Hodge of Harmony, N.C., Deborah Brown of Lineville, Ala., Nicki Payne of Thomaston, Cynthia Tapley of Lineville, Ala., and Amanda Sowards of Surfside Beach, S.C.; 14 grandchildren, Michael, Bobby, Mitchell, Kathryn, David, Hannah, Matthew, Brandon, Cody, Enan, Katelynn, Cortlynn, Destin and Bryce; two great-grandsons, Anthony and Ayden; three sisters, Debbie DeLong of Rex, Jane Worley of Griffin and Joyce Baswell of Lake Weiss, Ala.; and two brothers, Eddie Huckeba of Greenback, Tenn., and Joe Buchanan of Yatesville.Funeral services for Mrs. Carol Goolsby will be conducted Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home with Rev. Wanda Goolsby Hardin officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.The family has requested, in lieu of flowers, that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
