Carol Taylor Wade

Carol Taylor Wade, 75, of Stockbridge, died Wednesday, Sept. 4. She was born Nov. 24, 1937 to the late Alfred Arlington Taylor and Sarah Taylor. She was a graduate of the Zebulon High School class of 1955 and a member of the Zebulon High School girls basketball team. She was married to the late James Arthur Wade. Carol had a life long and successful career as a banker. She was an active person and an ardent sports fan. She was completely and forever devoted to her sons and her family. She is survived by her sons Scott Taylor of Jackson, Mark Taylor of Dawsonville, Brad Taylor of Atlanta and Sam Taylor of Dallas, Texas; stepson Chris Wade of Fayetteville; sisters June Hamrick of Barnesville and Gloria Morris of High Point, N.C.; and brothers, Douglas MacArthur Taylor of Griffin and Arlington Lamar Taylor of Dallas, Texas. She is also survived by two grandsons, a granddaughter and several dear friends. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Hospice Atlanta in memory of Carol Taylor Wade. Services will be held at the Zebulon United Methodist Church at 1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 14. Moody-Daniel Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
