Chamber decides not to partner with purported Lamar County Fair

Due to concerns, the B-LC chamber of commerce board has voted not to partner with an event set for September 27-30 with the name Lamar County Fair. The fair was to take place at the Gordon athletic complex but, as of 5 p.m. Aug. 24, there were no signed contracts for the use of campus property.
