A criminal trespass charge against Janet J. Presley stemming from an alleged break-in at a Thomaston Street home has been dropped. Sgt. Kolin Hunter of the Lamar County sheriff’s office filed a motion to dismiss the charge in magistrate court. The motion was signed by chief magistrate William Thomas on October 12.
