Charles ‘Ricky’ Goodman obituary

Mr. Charles ‘Ricky’ Goodman, age 56, of Barnesville, passed away March 10, 2012, at his residence on Yatesville Road.Born Oct. 20, 1955, he was a self-employed contractor who enjoyed woodworking. He was a loving husband and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin Goodman and Jane Massa and a brother, Mike Goodman.He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Lona Goodman; children, Kevin Goddard and Karen Sizemore, both of Griffin; grandchildren, Matthew, Christopher and Brittany Sizemore; great-grandson, Kash Sizemore; brothers and sisters, Randall Goodman, Ronnie Goodman, Marvin Goodman, Steve Goodman, Pam Lewis, Debbie Smith, Tammy Craft, Jim Massa, Sammy Massa, Larry Massa, Terry Massa, Vicky Ellis, Kathy Kelley and Randy Massa.Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, March 13, 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Moody Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Massa officiating.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to assist the family with funeral expenses.Moody Funeral Home in Zebulon is in charge of arrangements.
