Mr. Charlie J. Geiger, 63, of 501 Atlanta Street Barnesville transitioned on Sunday in the Eternal Hope Hospice. Professional services were held on Saturday at the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. Pastor Rufus J. Whatley officiated and interment was in the Lamar Memory Gardens. Trice Funeral Home Inc. of Barnesville was in charge of all professional services.He is survived by one daughter Ms. Bridget Foster of Thomaston and a son he loved as his own Mr. Roderick Hargrove of Atlanta. Two grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive. Two sisters Mrs. Loraine (Larry) Smith of Jonesboro, Mrs. Brenda (Jackie) Jackson of Warner Robins; one brother Mr. Charles A. (Angelyn) Geiger, and a nephew whom he loved as a brother, Mr. Brish Burke both of Barnesville; great-aunt Mrs. Essie L. Furlow; aunts Mrs. Jessie (Willie) Underwood, Mrs. Jimmie (James) White all of Barnesville and Ms. Lois Smith of Cleveland, Ohio; uncles Mr. George E. (Pat)Harp Jr. of McDonough, Mr. John (Gladys) Harp, Mr. Charles W. (Jacqueline) Harp, and Mr. Marvin (Lillie) Harp all of Barnesville. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends whom all will miss his presence.
