Aaron Dobbs and Kelly Williams each homered to help Gordon College to an 8-2 fifth inning league in game two of the best of three NJCAA East Central Regional series but Chattanooga fought back outlasting the Highlanders 10-8 to even the series at one game apiece and force a third and deciding game Sunday afternoon at two o’clock at Highlander Park. The Tigers scored twice in the fourth and fifth innings to cut Gordon’s lead in half, four to tie the game in the sixth and two more in the seventh to take a lead they would not relinquish. The winner of Sunday’s game advances to the JUCO World Series in Grand Junction, CO. which gets underway next weekend.
