With only 7 days before Santa arrives the television seems to have turned itself over to 24/7 yuletide programming. The finale of So You Think You Can Dance was the last straw as such fall populars as House, Glee, CSI, Fringe and Trauma all had their mid-season closers this past television week. The networks have now made the inevitable switch to such perennial classics as It’s A Wonderful Life, A Christmas Story, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation and Home Alone as well as newcomer shows like Jennifer Hudson: I’ll Be Home for Christmas, the Muppets Christmas Special and A Home for the Holiday with Sheryl Crow.
