Christmas Cinema

With only 7 days before Santa arrives the television seems to have turned itself over to 24/7 yuletide programming. The finale of So You Think You Can Dance was the last straw as such fall populars as House, Glee, CSI, Fringe and Trauma all had their mid-season closers this past television week. The networks have now made the inevitable switch to such perennial classics as It’s A Wonderful Life, A Christmas Story, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation and Home Alone as well as newcomer shows like Jennifer Hudson: I’ll Be Home for Christmas, the Muppets Christmas Special and A Home for the Holiday with Sheryl Crow. But is that enough? Is that what you want to see? What television show or movie can you not live without year after year? Do you have a favorite scene? What is it? GO!
