Mr. Christopher Leon Penn, 74, of 209 Virginia Ave, transitioned on July 5, 2018 in the Eternal Hope Hospice. Funeral services were held on Monday July 9 at 11 a.m. at the Sardis Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. Clarence Norris officiated, and interment was held in the church cemetery. Christopher leaves to cherish his memories a devoted wife, Bobby A. Penn of Barnesville; two sons, Kenny (Shirley) Davis of Forsyth, Ga. and Avery Penn of Riverdale, Ga.; five daughters, LaDeidre (Kenneth) Wilson Sr., of Williamson, Ga., Sharonda Penn and Christy Penn of Barnesville, Alexandar Penn of Clarkston, Ga. and Angel Penn of Jonesboro, Ga.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Preston Penn, D.A. Penn, and Micheal Penn of Barnesville; five sisters, Freddie (Christopher) Williams of Chicago, Enterjoy Thurmon and Omega Davis of Barnesville, Lillie Rose Penn of Conway, Ark. and Mary (Reginald) Carter of Fayetteville, Ga.; two sisters-in-law, Willie Mae Penn and Cynthia Penn of Barnesville; devoted friends, Jim and Karla Castlin; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Trice Funeral Home Inc. was in charge of all professional services.
