Citizen complaints lead to marijuana arrest

Barnesville police officers and agents of the Narcotics Task Force seized marijuana and cash and made one arrest at a College Drive residence today. A search warrant was issued for the residence after citizen complaints sparked the probe, according to BPD investigator Al Moltrum. Taken into custody during the raid at 367 College Drive was Ikechi John Nwogu, 18. Nwogu has another known address of 761 Forest Path in Stone Mountain. He was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute within 1000 feet of a school. Moltrum said Nwogu had rented a room at the home where he was taken into custody. Officers seized approximately four ounces of marijuana and a large sum of cash.
