A City of Barnesville employee working on infrastructure improvements for the new Boys & Girls Club was bitten by a copperhead Monday afternoon on Roberta Drive. The victim was bitten on the finger and treated at the scene by EMTs about 3 p.m. He then drove himself to the emergency room. The copperhead was summarily executed at the scene.
