The Barnesville city council will take up the matter of a proposed 185-foot monopole cell tower on a 3.91 acres site located at the corner of Holiday Lane and Aldora Street. Signage for the rezoning is on the south side of Aldora Street across from its intersection with Brown Street. Public Service Towers is asking that the site be rezoned from multi-family residential to industrial and for a conditional use permit for the cell tower. The hearing is set for 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6 at the council meeting room at 100 Mill St.
