Barnesville’s electrical department expects a short power shutoff at 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 21. The shutdown is for maintenance on one of the department’s regulators in the substation at the corner of Carleeta Street and North College Drive. The power is expected be out for about five minutes. Barnesville customers who will be affected are in the boundaries of Atlanta and Greenwood streets including streets such as Zebulon, Roberta Drive, Johnson, Barnesville Avenue, Church, Cherry and Akins Streets.
