Funeral services for murder victim Donald Clark have been set for Saturday, January 24 at 4 p.m. at Haisten McCullough Funeral Home in Griffin. Burial will follow in Westwood Gardens cemetery. Visitation with the Clark family is set for Friday, January 23 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Clark’s body was to be released by the state crime lab where it has been since it was discovered in a Redbone cornfield on Christmas eve. at 3 p.m. today. Clark, 41, disappeared from his home in mid-November. His ex-wife, Jennifer Clark and a man described as her lover, Kenneth Michael Yost, have been charged with murder. They allegedly wrapped Clark’s head in a plastic bag, hit him in the head with a metal baseball bat and dumped his body. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Donald Clark fund at any United Bank branch. “We still lack a little money for the funeral and the headstone,” Clark’s sister Brenda Maddox said. Maddox said she has had no contact from law enforcement authorities here since the first of the year. ”We hope this funeral will bring us some closure,” Maddox concluded.
