Darrin Clark has been hired as head coach for the LC Trojan basketball team. Clark is coming to Barnesville from Macon where he was head coach at Southwest Macon. Clark is a native of Natchez, Mississippi and graduated from Mississippi State with a degree in sociology. He has two supplemental degrees. He has served at Neel Academy and Elam Academy in the Bibb County system as well as Northeast High School in addition to SW Macon. He has been an assistant football coach and a head track coach. He has considerable experience in gathering and disseminating academic achievement data. Coach Clark and his wife, Robbin, have three children: La’Darria, Darrin Jr. and Darrian. ’My desire is that every child I come into contact with is afforded the same opportunities to succeed that my children had. Every action I take is dedicated to that goal,’ Clark said.
