Accused killer Jennifer Clark will take the stand to testify in her own defense at her murder trial this evening. Judge Tommy Wilson sent jurors to supper at 5 p.m. They are to return at 6:15 p.m. After some administrative work, Clark will testify, according to her attorney Suesan Miller. The day began with testimony from GBI crimes scene specialist Todd Crosby and medical examiner Dr. Kenneth Lehman. Also testifying were former LCSO chief investigator Rick McCreary, jailer Brandy Taylor and Shirley Clark, mother of victim Donald Clark. That set the stage for the testimony of Jacob and Joshua Clark, the young sons of the victim and the accused. Closing arguments are expected Friday morning and the case could go to the jury as early as that afternoon.
