Mr. Claude Edward Jenkins Jr. of 117 9th St., Barnesville, died on Thursday, July 12, 2012 in Lamar County, Ga. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. from the West Mount Sinai Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Rev. Horace Fuller Jr., pastor, and Rev. Jimmy Lyons officiated. Mr. Jenkins is survived by two children, Mrs. Angelia Brown (Willie Mack) of Barnesville, Ga., a son, Mr. Dexter Jenkins (Linda) of Griffin, Ga.; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild; a sister, Miss Eva E. Jenkins; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mrs. Linda Williams (James), Mr. James Lyons (Mary) and Mr. David Harris, all of Barnesville, Ga., and Mr. Clarence Lyons (Queenie) of Birmingham, Ala. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends also survived. Bentley’s and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of all professional services.
