Mr. Claude Hood, age 76, who resided at 397 Atlanta St. in Barnesville passed away on Monday, Jan. 5, 2015 at his residence. The family received friends at the home of his nephew, Timothy Holmes (Debra) at 202 Northside Dr. in Barnesville. Funeral services were held on Friday, Jan. 9, 2015 at 2 p.m. from the Springhill Community Baptist Church. Rev. Robert Howell is pastor. Rev. Travis Holmes officiated. Interment followed in the West Mt. Sinai Baptist Cemetery. Bentley’s Funeral Home of Barnesville is in charge of all professional services. Mr. Hood is survived by a sister, Annie Lee Furlow of Barnesville; great-nephew, Timothy Holmes (Debra) of Barnesville; niece, Shirley Hood of Niagara Falls; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives who will miss him dearly.
