Campers and smokers are already showing up in the BBQ & Blues event area in downtown Barnesville in preparation for the big event weekend. BBQ & Blues 2012 officially kicks of tonight with an After Hours event at United Bank from 5-7 p.m. As part of the evening, there will be a gold cart decorating contest. The theme is ‘Get Piggy with It’. Friday is the big day for locals who can enter various cooking contests, prepare their best work at home and hope to win big.
