Mr. Corry White, age 87, of Barnesville passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at a Rockdale County healthcare facility. Mr. White retired from General Tire and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army in the Pacific Theater, and attended the Barnesville First Assembly of God. He was preceded in death by his parents George Fleming White and Annie Lee Wood White, three brothers and six sisters. Survivors include his three sons, Adron White, Corry Lewis (and Betty) White and Ed White; two daughters, Kathy (and Danny) Vaughn and Debra (and Tony) Winters; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services for Mr. Corry White will be conducted on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Williams funeral Home with Rev. Tracy Stone officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
