Sheriff Brad White reports that one local seller involved in the Peaches to Beaches Yard Sale event over the weekend was paid with multiple counterfeit $20 bills. Sheriff White urges other sellers to have their bills checked at a bank to make sure they are not counterfeit. ”If they are, we want them to let us know so we can try to narrow down who was passing them,” the sheriff said.
