The local health department now offers around-the-clock COVID-19 PCR testing with no out of pocket costs through a new kiosk on the front porch of the office at 100 Academy Dr. in Barnesville. Lamar was the second in the 12-county district to get a kiosk.
Patients fill out a registration form then the kiosk dispenses a test kit. The specimen is then placed back in the kiosk and later sent to a lab.
