Crawford hit with charges of ‘˜egregious conduct’ by JQC

Georgia’s Judicial Qualifications Commission accused Judge Mack Crawford of ‘˜egregious conduct’ following a hearing July 24 on charges involving the alleged theft of funds from the Pike County superior court registry. Crawford, who lives in Pike County, has been a superior court judge in the Griffin Judicial Circuit since 2010. Prior to that he was a state representative. He once headed up the state’s public defender council.
