By Walter GeigerThe following cases were adjudicated in Lamar superior court April 11 with Judge Tommy Wilson presiding: ’¢ Jason Christopher Bates, obstruction of an officer and suspended license: failed to appear, bench warrant issued.’¢ Michael Jones, child molestation, 15 years probation.’¢ Anthony Scott, two counts simple assault: 24 months probation, $500 fine plus surcharges.’¢ Dawn Marie Laughman, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute: not prosecuted.’¢ Calem Michael Sanders, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute: not prosecuted.’¢ Jarred Clay Smith, possession of marijuana, obstruction and battery: five years probation, $4830 restitution.’¢ Tony Jerome Akins, two counts VGCSA : not prosecuted.’¢ Cary Scott Wilson, terroristic threats and acts and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon: 10 years probation, search and specimen clause and must wear alcohol monitor.’¢ Bradley Dewayne Jones Jr, possession of marijuana: failed to appear, bench warrant issued.’¢ Cornelius Akwaski Amofah, possession of marijuana: failed to appear, bench warrant issued.’¢ Bradley Jones, possession of marijuana: failed to appear, bench warrant issued.’¢ Henry Contravious Barrett, theft by taking: seven years probation, $1000 fine plus surcharges, banished from circuit.’¢ Jalen Tuman Britt II, theft by taking: seven years probation, $1000 fine plus surcharges, banished from circuit.’¢ Alexander Danyell Brown, suspended license and following too close: 24 months probation.’¢ Cecil James, second degree forgery: failed to appear, bench warrant issued.’¢ Latanya S. Morris, second degree forgery: not prosecuted.’¢ Jessie Nicole Burke, interference with government property and reckless conduct: sent to drug court.’¢ Tommy Lee Davis, unlawful disposition of distilled spirits and alcohol license violation: dead docketed.Davis agreed not to reopen his club Tommy’s Eat & Play.’¢ Marion David Vance, criminal attempt to commit a felony, criminal trespass and possession of burglary tools: failed to appear, bench warrant issued.’¢ Gerald Lee Nelson, reckless conduct and obstruction: 24 months probation, $500 fine.’¢ Christopher Chantler Smarr, carrying a weapon without a license: 12 months probation, $500 fine plus surcharges.’¢ Kervens Sycin, affray and disorderly conduct: not prosecuted.’¢ Calvin Jerome Wilkerson, possession of marijuana and obstruction: 24 months probation, $500 fine plus surcharges.’¢ William Garrett Edwards, first degree forgery and theft by receiving stolen property: failed to appear, bench warrant issued.’¢ Robert Lee Gentry, battery: sent to anger management counseling.’¢ Katrin Hughlay, aggravated assault: five years probation, $100 fine plus surcharges under first offender act.’¢ Ashley Nicole Hughley, theft by deception and financial transaction card fraud: failed to appear, bench warrant issued.’¢ Elix Mays, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and obstruction: three years probation, $1000 fine plus surcharges, must get GED within 12 months, 9 p.m. curfew for three months.’¢ Jeffrey Lynn Moncrief, financial transaction card theft and financial transaction card fraud: six years probation, $3,330.69 restitution to United Bank.’¢ Robert Oliver Boswell, three counts interference with custody: 15 months probation and stay away clause.’¢ Adrien Ellerby, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance: not prosecuted.’¢ Dessa Mae Moreland, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance: not prosecuted.’¢ Michael Ray London, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance: dead docketed.’¢ Lou Ann D. Montgomery: criminal trespass and obstruction: 24 months probation, $100 fine plus surcharges.’¢ Deron Ben Williamson, theft by taking: failed to appear, bench warrant issued. ’¢ Michael Booker, simple battery and criminal trespass; sent to anger management counseling.’¢ Donna Lynn Coates, criminal trespass: 12 months probation, $500 restitution.
