Griffin circuit district attorney Scott Ballard reported late Monday his office is unlikely to seek the death penalty in the Buzz Burousas murder case. Ballard said his office is evaluating the evidence against Teresa Burousas who is charged with her husband’s murder. Life in prison is a more likely sentence for Teresa Burousas if she is convicted.
